Considered by many to one of the finest tweeters manufactured and available at any price. If you are not familiar with this technology these tweeters are 1960s vintage.
The Duc 10 produces very fast high frequencies that seem effortless to the listener. Just like to original performance.
This pair was used by oncologist to test high frequency hearing or loss of high frequency hearing. With the correct low frequency driver and crossover the speakers can respond faster than even ribbon tweeters.
The original was sold with a aluminum exponential horn but this pair has machined port to direct the sound. The type of horn needed to bring to original can be found in many catalogs from the 1950s & 1960s. Or one can choose to keep it as is because the sound does no suffer with this machined ad-on
Overall condition is very high with no damage or deterioration of wood mounting bracket. The aluminum has no oxidized because Duk 10 has always been in heated and temperate humidity part of home.
