Epicure Model 20 Speakers

Description

Selling this fully restored pair of Epicure Model 20 speakers. New caps in crossover, new paint on baffles, rubber feet installed on base, repairs to veneer, refoamed woofers, and new grille cloth to replace the old chocolate brown cloth these came with. The only thing not featured in the photos are the original badges, which I have and will happily hot glue on the grilles if desired by the buyer.
The inverted masonite tweeters may not look pretty, but they sound great as anyone with experience with Epicure, EPI, or Genesis speakers will attest to. These are known as “double Burhoe modules” based on the designer’s philosophy of sealed cabinets with eight inch woofers and the concave tweeter.
These have a fantastic mid century look and are designed to be placed right up against the wall.
